PRIMULA

Primula allionii require Alpine House cultivation.  They are excellent plants and small plants will put on a magnificent show in early spring.  They do require some careful cultivation otherwise these plants will die.   All at £3.00.

Primula marginata are hardy plants suitable for the rock garden, scree, alpine house, pots and troughs. Their name comes from the white margin around the leaves.  They are early flowering, March - April, and have very showy flowers of pale blue, mauve blue or white, carried on leaves heavy with silver or gold farina.  All £2.10

Group one. The porophyllum section generally will require shade from the midday sun and good drainage.  All suitable for troughs, alpine house, tufa rock garden.  Some are slow (reflected in the price). Excellent plants and highly recommended.
